God only named his people "Christians", and only Christians. (1 Peter 4:16; Acts 11:26)

Q: What is the Novus Ordo Establishment? A: The Novus Ordo Establishment is a "New Order" (Latin: Novus Ordo) which consists of a new code (law), creed (belief), and cult (liturgy) imposed on the Catholic Church by the authorities in the Vatican at the end of the Second Vatican Council (1962-65). Its goal is the systematic destruction of traditional Catholic beliefs and morals, in favor of a "New Evangelization," which seeks not to convert the lost, but to tell the lost they are already found, whether they know it or not.

Growing up in the Catholic Church, I would hear people complain that the Catholic Church was becoming more and more Protestant. It makes you wonder what is going on in the Church. Some Catholics would probably not like my curiousity and favor towards the Tridentine Mass, but it is the mass that formed my Catholicisim, back then.

Arthur

Do you anticipate any drastic changes in the Church when a new Pope is chosen?

Rod; I do not anticipate things getting better when a new pope is elected. He will probably be more of a modernist than the present pope.

My belief, is that the Masons have infiltrated the Church to such a degree since Vatican 2, that the only hope we have ,is for Our Lord to return.

arthur,

the Vatican has been trying to rule the world since it's start. We see it today as the pope promotes a One World religion. He speaks heresies and claims that little fat man buddha is the same god as our Christian God Jehovah. The Jesuits have been infiltrating Christian colleges and misleading people about Romanism to suck them into the trap of ecumenism. Today, if someone mentions anything bad about the worlds' most dangerous and powerful cult they are labled "Anti-Catholics" and "Hatemongers".

Hi David.

David are you "pro-Catholic" or "anti-Catholic"? And, how many times have you used the word "hate" in this and that forum?

There other ways of spreading the Gospel, love goes much further.

The truth hurts rod. I'm sorry if it offends you.

Is it wrong to hate the things God hates?

Actually, David, I would guess that you would hold some warmth in your heart for the Jesuits.

Yes rod, exactly. I hold warmth for the Jesuits even though I said they infiltrated Christian colleges to mislead believers about the most dangerous and powerful cult in the world, and suck them into this new age of ecumenism and tolerence.

David, I am not offended by one's honest beliefs. I am offended by people's behaviors: rudeness, insensitivity, insults, arrogance, condensending, ridiculing, malice, deceptive, and sometimes deliberate ignorance. There is a difference in approaching diverse beliefs.

No, Christ did not name His Church. He didn't have to. It was the ONLY Christian Church in existence, and the only Christian Church He ever intended to exist. Therefore, simply referring to it as "The Church" was quite adequate. And that is how we see it referred to in the New Testament. However, people do have a tendency to name things that are important to them, and we know from historical texts that the Church Christ founded began calling itself "The Holy Catholic Church" around the end of the first century. The oldest existing written document in which this name was used is the letters of Ignatius, Bishop of Antioch, dated 107 A.D. Ignatius used the name freely, without explanation, obviously assuming that his readers would be familiar with it, so apparently it was already in general use by that time. Ignatius was a disciple of the Apostle John.

Oh really? Is that why these churches called themselves

"the church of God" (1, 2 Cor. 1:1); "churches of Galatia," (Gal. 1:2); "church of the Thessalonians in God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ," (1, 2 Thess. 1:1); "church of the firstborn," (Heb. 12:23)

Also besides being the Church of God, David, it was also called the Way.

Acts 9,19,24,26.

The followers were also called disciples and Nazarenes.

See Acts again.

FIRST OF ALL - HIS NAME WAS NOT NOR IS NOT CHRIST.

What does "Christ" mean?

HIS NAME IS(I COME IN THE FATHER'S NAME) YAHSHUA .

Ok, "Jesus" is latin for "Yashua"/"Yehoshua"(Aramaic).

HE IS THE MESSIAH.

Yes, He is.

DO YOU HONESTLY THINK THAT HE WOULD HAVE HAD ANY PART OF THE HOLY ROMAN EMPIRE.

Is that an oxymoron?

HE LEFT NO ONE AS A VICAR.

Not even Peter? Are you sure?

MYSTERY BABYLON ( THE GREAT WHORE CHURCH) SITS ON SEVEN HILLS.

Can you actually prove that. I would like somebody to make it abosolutey clear.

WHERE DO YOU THINK THE VATICAN SITS?

In the Vatican City??

SEARCH AND YOU WILL FIND.

I did.

ONE OF THE NEXT FEW POPES WILL BE THE BAD BOY.

There have been many "BAD BOY" popes and others (non-Catholic higher ups).

WATCH AND SEE.

Where do you get this information from?

BTW, Welcome to the forum?!
