You only get EWTN with the newer dishes that have three prongs. I had one of the old dishes, and they charged me $70 to get a new one. Sometimes the picure is a little choppy and fuzzy, but its worth it.I'm thinking EWTN really needs to revamp some if its programming. Certain shows are great, but others need some help. "Life on the Rock" just doesn't appeal to teenagers anymore. "Super Saints" can be so much better. And how about a daily Catholic evening news show?
I love EWTN, but I'm slowly tuning them out for lack of fresh, in depth programming. I'd like to see EWTN become a major media voice. To do that, they should report from the Conference of Bishops daily, report from Rome daily, and bring us news from around the country daily. Anti-Catholicism is at its worst these days. Not THE best, but ONE of the best ways to respond to opponents of Catholicism is to play their game, and then beat them at it, that is, through the media.

As I told before , I never watch ewtn , 'cause it's not my kind of TV , sorry !! __ But I know there are other satellites where you can watch this channel legally for free !! __ But for what I know , at DirecTV , I thought ewtn was not a crypted channel !! __ Sorry , but I can't check it !!Salut & Cheers from a NON BELIEVER:
