I just want to know if Kenshin or Samurai X are the same thing (show)?

Whenever I ask one of my friends about whether or not they've seen Kenshin on TV, they say "Sure I've seen Samurai X before...."

Maybe I just have stupid friends but this is confusing me.

Techinally speaking Rurouni Kenshin and Samurai X are the same manga. The movies (as usual) generally differentiate from the series, or they take place before the anime series when Kenshin was a manslayer. So in other words I should just say yes.

Well, Samurai X is the same as Rurouni Kenshin. it's just that Samurai X is about when he was still a manslayer, and Tomoe was alive, and yeah. Rurouni Kenshin is what happened after... WAAH!!! KENSHIN! WHERE CAN I DOWNLOAD U WITHOUT SIGNING UP FOR ANYTHING?! WHERE CAN I FIND A SITE THAT ISN'T CRAPPY OR DOWN?!
