I LOVE PM MOVIE #4!!!!!!!! I liked 3 better though. But the English version?! DAMN PEOPLE!!!!!! Here's somethin' you probably didn't know.

The English version has about 3 scenes added to it that weren't there in the Japanese version!! You know how we find out Yukinari ("Sammy") is really Okido-Hakase (Prof. Oak)? Well the way you find out in the Japanese version is during the ending song when Kenji ("Tracey") finds Yukinari's sketchbook. WHAT THE HELL?! WHY WOULD OKIDO-HAKASE HAVE IT?! Unless...HE WAS YUKINARI!!!!!! Ta-Da! See? Not hard to understand right?

Well the dubbers figured that the kids they target PM to wouldn't get it...Either that or they figured they'd leave the theatre during the end song and miss that, but either way...So they added some scenes of Okido telling Satoshi (Ash) and his friends that he too saw a Suikun as a kid and a bunch of other stuff to tie that in so that you wouldn't miss the major point of the movie. But...You'de never know it wasn't originally there!!! Damn!!! They paid MILLIONS of dollars to the Japanese animation studio to create these extra scenes for 'em!!! That's actually not so bad but still, they tampered with the original feel of the movie by kinda jumping the gun and telling you that before the end where you're supposed to find it out. Oh well. But they also added some random Team Rocket scene in where they tried to get some peaches to eat and fell off the gian machine thing. Pointless waste of a LOT of money, ne? Oh well, their loss. But it totally had no point. Maybe they figured the Rocket-Dan didn't have a big enough part in the Movie? ???.

Well that's not so bad but in Movie #5 they cut the entire opening scene of the origin of Latios and Latias, and then later in the movie changed the plot COMPLETELY...Come on!! Pokemon for the most part was a nice harmless cute Anime and I love it!!! It's Anime like this that you think would come over to the US totally unharmed and only dubbed in English but...Nope. Still they had to tamper with something that was already perfect. But whatever. I write way too much, huh?
