Ben Ramsey Adapting Dragonball Z for Fox Source: Variety Friday, June 25, 2004

Screenwriter Ben Ramsey ("The Big Hit") has signed to adapt Dragonball Z for the big screen for 20th Century Fox, reports Variety. Dragonball Z was adapted from the "Dragonball" manga created by Akira Toriyama and later developed into a Japanese anime series.

"Dragonball Z" follows the adventures of an adult humanoid alien who's just discovered that he was sent to Earth to blend in and destroy our population but instead elects to protect it from an oncoming alien onslaught.

Ramsey recently wrote the adaptation of Marvel's Luke Cage at Sony's Columbia Pictures, as well as Static for Columbia-based producer Neal Moritz.

Is this bullshit or not? What do u think. I think itz real :). Resume the DBZ-project!!

do you have a sorce..? without one i say its bullshit. lets not forget, DBZ series finished in GT with the death/retirement of a few main characters (krillin, pickalo(SP) yancha tien and chalzu(sp))... so even if the did manage to finish the series it would ether be a craptacular show with a bunch of hyper powered ssj's flying around everywhere, or take place so far in the future it barely be concired a sequil..

pardon my crappy spelling XD

I got this off of scifi.com Screenwriter Ben Ramsey has signed a deal to adapt the anime series Dragonball Z for the movies for 20th Century Fox. Now we all know that there are quite a few db movies., and even a really not so funny/kinda funny if your a fan/kinda stupid live action film . Now heres the deal Ramsey wrote The Big Hit just about the stuidest film I ever saw this side of Love and a Bullet. It just happened to be the other film that he wrote. So the question is can this guy sink the dragonball franchise, the most popular franchise ever besides Star Trek. What do you think ?
