Could anyone advise me concerning the color of C&WC stations and the color of the station sign boards?

Bill,

As a subsidiary of the ACL, C&WC stations and lineside structures were painted in the ACL's std color scheme of gray with dark brown trim (exterior and interior). Station sign boards also followed ACL practice of using smalted(deep cobalt blue)enamled signs with white lettering (roman font).

A few depots survived long enough to be painted in subsequent ACL paint schemes of white/puple and green/white (also used in SCL era). Hope this helps.
