Also reported is that McCloud, Jr. was named Episcopal Officer nad Messiah to the 20th District.

What/Where is the 20th District?

Do we now have 20 bishoprics and a spare?!

Hmm.

Is it possible the First is served by Bishop Norris, and not Bishop Bryant, who was in the fifth previously>

Yes, the new 20th district is addressing southern Africa. I don't know if it's the Namibia proposal offfered by Rev. Hanse in 2003, or some accomodation of the expanding 17th. I'm sure we'll get clarification over the next few days.

Can this Zion, under current structure, realistically afford 20 active Bishops plus an Ecumenical Officer? As the proverbial statement goes - "Money doesn't grow on trees". QED

Jerryl, the herald has it correct, Bishop Norris is in the first district. Ron typed it wrong, but the herald reportedly correctly on our website.

Brother Bill, the short answer is "NO". The longer answer would still be "No", but it would be preceded by at least one and maybe more not to polite adjectives.

I have a report that indicates this list is not correct. Bishop Bryant stays in the Fifth.

We have not seen the last of the controversy about the two added bishops.

The budget as adopted at the Gen Con does include the 20th bishop not the 21st. The shortfall will will funded by reducing the adjusting the salary of the indigenous bishops who were elected under special consideration to amount that is equivalent to their US salaries in the local currency. According to our CFO this reduces their salary to 40 - 50% of a North American bishop. How will this work? Is it fair? These questions were not truly answered at GenCon. They will dog us for the quadrennium. The ecumenical officer is funded but no staff is in the current the budget very interesting.

All,

I copied the list wrong. Bryant is the 5th and Norris is the 1st. Gee, sorry. Just trying to help. Best thing to do is to go to www.amehearld.com for the Hearld's list. Sorry for the confusion.

In Love,
