hmmmmm i would have to say Slipknot purely for the excellent duming in songs like Left Behind and My Plauge. As a mater of fact all the songs on th "Iowa" album have great druming

why? slipknot of course! do you hear "duality" or "pulse of the maggot" yet?

-- Hiddenidentity (Hiddenidentity@yahoo.com), July 24, 2004.

i have heard Duality it is a great song but the drumming is nowhere near as good as the drumming in "Left Behind" i havent heard pulse fo the maggots yet

System is way better have you guys heard "Suite Pee" "Bubbles" "Chop Suey!" or "P.L.U.C.K." those song have the best drumming ever

Suite Pee and P.L.U.C.K. are great songs

-- Informer X (ithinkimhigh@sbcglobal.net), July 27, 2004.

P.L.U.C.K definitly got the right to blow! but their guitar isn't even nearly "Eyeless" or "surfacing" yet.and the drum Almost match "The blister exist".really! only if you hear them...

-- Hiddenidentity (Hiddenidentity@yahoo.com), July 28, 2004.

Yeah the blister exists is a good song. but i havent heard alot of their new stuff i only have their first two albums.

I also have to see a band wit hgreat drumming is Mushroomhead. i just found my XIII album that i was missing for three months and listining to it reminds me why Mushroomhead is my favorite band. they are also working on a new album and a dvd home video to be released this winter. so check stores soon, or if you wnat me to i could keep you informed. also buy their albums Xx and XIII.

-- Informer X (ithinkimhigh@sbcglobal.net), September 25, 2004.

Nice i love mushroomhead man. yeah i heard J-mann left the band tho. are they gonna break up?

-- Music Maniac (ilikeithard@hotmail.com), September 26, 2004.

No over the last ten years they have had members comeing and going. In a way Mushroomhead depends on change and evoulution throuh emebers leaving and members coming. os J-mann resignation from the organization is just another part of the evoulution that is mushroomhead.

-- Informer X (ithinkimhigh@sbcglobal.net), September 26, 2004.

you make no sense. i thought they started in 2001?

-- Music Maniac (ilikeithard@hotmail.com), September 26, 2004.

no they started in 1993 and released there first album in 1995. itwas independant. so it was only in cleveland. they had 4 indie releases and shunned all record dels until universal made them an offer they could not refuse. so they got signed and released Xx which is a collection of songs from their previous albums.

-- Informer X (ithinkimhigh@sbcglobal.net), September 26, 2004.

oh yeah Mushroomhead. i dont like them because they stole slipknots image. with the maskes and the jumpsuits

-- (Censored) ((Censored)@(Censored).net), September 26, 2004.

Wrong again. Mushroomhead started in 1993 before slipknot. all the members were in different bands that practiced in the same building and when practie was over a bunch of them hung around and they started this side project ,for fun, which later became mushroomhead. When they first performed at a club in cleveland they wore masks and used aliases so no one would know who they were and have preconceptons or get jelous. after that tho they were invited to play for 2,000 people at their 2nd performance. and after the album came out they started getting buzz from stores asking for posters and t shirts and what not so they decided to stick with mushroomhead and leave the other bands behind. but i stray from the point. the point is they started before slipknot. they even got angry at slipknot and said that slipknot ripped off their image. but now they dont care. once you hear them there is no mistaking the two, and Mushroomhead is all about supporting other bands anyway. but there was a time when they were a little sour about it.

Might be a system error

-- Music Maniac (ilikeithard@sbcglobal.net), September 26, 2004.

Probably

-- Informer X (ithinkimhigh@sbcglobal.net), September 26, 2004.

im not too sure, but id hafta side with system of a down.

-- what is this, a million questions? ^_^ (superpet@sc.rr.com), October 01, 2004.

To be honest i havent actually heard a lot of slipknot but as other people have said the drumming P.L.U.C.K is insane. John would most likely win a competion between ONE of slipknot's drums and John. :P

-- Nathan (the_nathan@hotmail.com), October 10, 2004.

ah john. there is a summer camp i work at and he was a counselor there once. some people still remember him there. i say "listen to this song from SOAD" and like one of my friends says "the drummer used to be my counselor." kinda cool, no?
