how old is skyler(sp?) ledbetter house on country road, oakboro

I moved into an old house on Country Road in oakboro. I know it has been there since at least the 1930's. A Mr. Morton told me he was a teenager then, and lived in the house, and before him, there was a bootlegger that lived there. Ledbetter Ford road runs into country road. Mr. Morton told me the house was known as the Skyler(sp?)Ledbetter house. A Mr. Sam Hill lived in a nearby house. My landlord cant tell me anything except that he knew the house was there in the 60's. Does anyone know anything about this place?
