Kinda of late for April fools, don't you think?

-- ZAROVE (ZAROFF3@JUNO.COM), August 12, 2004.

Yea..

-- David Ortiz (cyberpunk1986@hotmail.com), August 12, 2004.

Actually, I've been extremely busy. When I saw the "banned" thing, it hit me like a feather. School is starting up and for the first time in over 18 years I'm feeling very overwhelmed. There are way too many demands and expectations this time around. Oh well....what can we do? Oh, I know. We can only do what is humanly possible.

I'll miss school. Well, no, actually I'll miss arguing with the teachers and other students.

-- David Ortiz (cyberpunk1986@hotmail.com), August 12, 2004.

Well, Rod. That was really David making a joke.

I think he is just trying to let you know he will miss you for a while. He cannot come to say it in a very nice way, like nice knowing you, Rod. You were the one that pushed David more to the meaning of what religious toleration really means.

In doing so, you Rod and David have been able to bring a lot of us together with so many beliefs under one roof. I thank you both.

David will for the first time know the meaning of being an adult. No one to push you, but one pushing ourself to do what grown ups usually do.

He has the experience of dealing with adults like us. I think he can handle difficult situations where he is going.

Hey....I'm not leaving yet...I have a month to go.

-- David Ortiz (cyberpunk1986@hotmail.com), August 12, 2004.

Thanks, Elpidio. You've always known my angle on many things. I never considered David as one of my students, but I do consider him as a friend. Yes, we do argue and he does get my feathers ruffled. But, what makes a person stand on his own two feet? Testing, tormenting, taunting, thinking, turmoil, trials, tripping, traveling, teathering, and so on. We all go through it. And, so does a sword. The best sword is one that has been honed and tempered to perfection.

David's steps are gonna face some of the best tempering of his life and then even more. We all go through it and it never seems to end.

p.s. David you are a smart and tough believer (I'm complimenting you). Come Sept. I will miss your activity here. Now, how 'bout them Bears!(I know, Patriots.)

Well, Rod, you know I care for you and the rest of the people of the forum.

You, Jim F,Andy, Emily, Gail....on the Catholic side are people I cared for your openess to others.

Zarove, David ( as of November 2003), Kevin (as of February 2004), faith, Luke ....from the Protestant side.

If I missed someone,....let you know. Where there are roses, there are also thorns.

Main main job since July 23 2000 has been to make people aware that Yahweh our God still works in our lives. Other than that, I am just a regular guy.

Whether people think I am crazy, looking for the spotlight, a false prophet, the anti-Christ,....that is something I have to live with.

Elpidio

Thanks for including me in the above. I spotted you early on in my adventure into religious cyberspace. When I first looked in on the Catholic forum, I recognised that you were a good person, with tremendous knowlege. Unconventional in many ways, but I knew you were someone I would enjoy knowing.

There is a nice group of people who contribute here. We don't always agree, but when we're in the mood ---we're not bad! I learn and take from here much more than I contribute. Thank You!

-- Jim (furst@flasfh.net), August 12, 2004.

Thanks, Jim.

Maybe if the Pope had replied to my first letter in 1997, I probably still would be catholic.

I may publish the letters I sent to Clinton 1n 1996, 2000, and 2001, and those I sent to the Pope in 1997 and 2000. I already published the one for 2002. There was another one from 1999, but I never sent it.

I believe the Pope this time has come to the end of his life. He will take President Bush with him. Both were in my dream in April 2003. They also appeared in my dream of July 4, 2004.

-- ZAROVE (ZAROFF3@JUNO.COM), August 13, 2004.

I ship out Sept. 13th. Then I'll be there for 3 months (or longer) for bootcamp.

-- David Ortiz (cyberpunk1986@hotmail.com), August 13, 2004.

Bootcamp? You are joining the army?

My banning was just a joke. You see; David and I are the best friends in the whole entire world. Ok, maybe not the entire world, but only here in these threads. Ok, maybe not in these threads, but only for a moment in time. Ok, maybe not for a moment in time, but only for arguments' sake.

Revenge?! Yup, I'll get revenge. I'm gonna moderate my own posts. Just wait and see. Hey, I might even post and delete my own posts! That will really get them. I'm gonna ban myself. Ah! sweet revenge!! As a matter of fact, I already censored this post. Neeah, neeah!

Rod,

If it makes you feel any better, I am not far behind you as I have already been threatened with being banned.

-- Kevin Walker (kevinlwalker572@cs.com), August 17, 2004.

It would be very wrong to have you banned from this forum. Your posts are real and faithful. When a person asks you (or anyone else) a question, you have the freedom to answer them completely without fear of censorship or banning. That's how it should be. But, look what happened to Peter and some of the other Apostles. Look what happened to Christ. What should believers have to fear? Nothing! It's those who do the banning without righteous reason who have all to fear.

But, I don't need to tell you stuff you already know, Kevin.
