Is there such thing called after-market replacement part for elevator/escalator?

I am (going to be) an elevator repair guy. Just wondering whether I can find any less-expensive, OK-quality after-market replacement parts for various elevator/escalator from various manufacturer?

You might want to get a subscriction to elevator world magazine, the October issue gives you a source book instead of a magazine for the month,thats enought to keep any dog or cat busy for a while. What do you have to trade??? Jim
