My brother told me that people were getting in trouble for using bittorrent and kazaa lite. i wanted to know whether this was true so i'll be more careful about what i download.

True, RIAA (for music) and MPAA (for movies) are sending "scary mails" to downloaders "asking" to stop immediately any download activities for copyright stuff or you'll get sued. Like if it's not enough, you might also get "scary mails" from people who are playing hoax...

Anime and manga are still pretty safe to download. Be more careful (try to use some extra protections) when it comes to music and movies.

Thanks for the advice. Mom's totally freaking out about what she sees on tv so i really needed to find out before i started playing with my new faster computer.
