The Los Angeles Times has published a series of articles on Paul Crouch, The founder of TBN.

The first one deals with an accusation where he paid money to silence a person who accused him of having a homosxual encounter with him. The person who did the accusing was also accused of molesting a child in San Bernardino, California.

In the last two pieces , including today's, he is accused of preaching a Gospel of prosperity. You must give your 10% or more or God won't be on your side.

My question, did God Yahweh ever made that request of his people? Did Jesus ever preached that you must give to receive?

Let's start with the Patriarchs Abraham, Isaac, Jacob,and Joseph, since they fit a mold of prosperity.

If you want to include Jesus right now is fine.
