KOBE helped get Sherman Austin arrested? Fuck that fascist!

-- Anti-bush (Comrade_bleh@hotmail.com), September 23, 2004.

If Sherman Austin did the crime, he should do the time. And no, Kobe is just tired of idiots like AKO and Jake posting their swill on the 'Net all of the time.

That Sherman Austin bit was a real messed-up case, in my opinion, but it's not as if he ever encouraged anyone to start making bombs. This kind of information is provided everywhere, and I'm sure that the info he provided had a disclaimer of some sort.

I think that the reason that they cracked down on him so hard is because of his anarchist views.

Remember, we ARE living in a post-9-11 world thanks to international terrorists. It's only natural that the government has to crack down on homegrown terrorists as well. Remember the Oklahoma City bombing a few years back? And the first attempt of bombing the WTC in 1993?

-- Garret Ford (Parallax281457689@Yahoo.com), September 26, 2004.

He didn't "do the crime". He posted a link on his site to an offsite page which was linked to another page which contained some bomb- making information. That's not illegal. Even if it was, the case should have been dismissed on the grounds of police violating his rights. They entered his house and confiscated his computer and almost all of his books, causing significant damge inside the house as well. When Austin asked the see their warrant or to be informed of the charge, they refused. They released him, but arrested him again several months later when he went to a protest in New York. They didn't read him his rights, they didn't charge him with any specific crime. They impounded his car and he still doesn't know where it is. The prosecution railroaded him, making up this story of a nut job who encouraged kids to make bombs, and then made him out to be a "man on a mission", making the groundless cliam that he was actualy coming to New York to blow shit up, despite the fact that he had nothing incriminating in his car at all. No bombs, no bomb-making equipment, no bomb-related literature, nothing. There was no real evidence to suggest any of this, but hey, why should that stop the U.S. government?

The prosecution offered him a deal in which he could plead guilty to a minor crime and recieve only a few months in prison, instead of the heavy sentence they assured him was coming. He accepted, beleiving that these people would railroad him into prison no matter what. Then the judge decided to tack on an extra "terrorism penalty" of twenty years.

This is a textbook case of somebody getting fucked by the system. Sherman Austin's only crime was running a website that dared to criticize the establishment. This was not simply our wonderful, benevolent government cracking down on another "evildoer". This was a concerted effort by the powers that be to silence dissent. And Garret, people like you allow it to happen.

Wow, Anti, you really hit the nail on the head, but did you really have to tack on that last bit for Garret?

-- -- (dermondstate@citywoxley.org), September 26, 2004.

Yeah, that was kinda mean. My bad, Garret. Just got a little carried away.

-- Anti-bush (Comrade_bleh@hotmail.com), September 26, 2004.

Don't sweat it Anti. It's all good. Besides, we have a worse problem, namely that troll "Jake" posing as me in the "Freedom! Self Reliance" board.

-- Garret Ford (Parallax281457689@Yahoo.com), September 27, 2004.

I wouldn't worry about Jake. I've got his IP now, which I will pass along to all of my hacker friends.

**Anti-Bush assumes no responsibility for the misuse of said information**

-- Anti-bush (Comrade_bleh@hotmail.com), September 27, 2004.

That's what Austin said. If you are giving his personal information to people you can assume have both the knowhow and inclination to commit crime, you are aiding in the commision of a crime. Don't be suprised when the FBI come knocking...

Bazooka Joe

But he wasn't giving anyone the information. He posted an offsite link to a page with a link to a page that contained bomb-making information. That's not a crime.

-- Anti-bush (Comrade_bleh@hotmail.com), September 28, 2004.

How do you know they are hackers?? That's like saying well I know these stupid assholes that shoot at people they don't like, they are unstable and will do it if you tell em what a poopypants this guy is. Hey I'll just give them this guy's address I am not responsible with what they do with it. It's called an accessory, or taking part in the commision of a crime. Even though it's though hacking is not as serious a crime. Stupid poopbutt bitch!

-- What Lawyers do is not Special (airblow@nAMbLa.org), September 28, 2004.

Well, Jake, still posting your trash unde other pepole's names but mucked up their E-mail addys, eh? Typical of a piece of trash like you. I hope that the FBI catches up with you and put you where you belong... up the river.

-- (none@yerbizzness.com), September 29, 2004.

Now that we have settled that, how would you like to take a quick trip up the dirt road - if you know what I mean?
