My MV Moans

greenspun.com : LUSENET : MV Agusta F4 : One Thread

Every once in awhile when I'm in my garage I hear the MV moaning - for lack of a better term... has anyone else noticed this or have an explanation of what the sound is?

vacuum from fuel tank equilbrating with ambient air pressures. normal on all bikes/cars any sealed tanks.

I would assume that the pressure would reach equilibrium fairly quickly - less than a day? and it should stop moaning but this happens evan after the bike hasn't been ridden for a week...I guess I'll open the fuel filler and hang around for a bit...

Bill, Petrol likes to expand and contract with even quite minor changes in ambient air temperature.

Maybe it's because you're not riding it often enough or hard enough ?

You need to excercise the beast more frequently !
