I need to know of some sites where I can get extensive information on cognition (ie filter models of attention and resource allocation models of attention, what happens to info not attended to in terms of sensory storage models, and what are the key variables that appear to affect short term memory). And yes, this does have to do with school work. I would go to the textbook, if we had one --- but we do not. Can you just suggest some sites (or books) for me so I can find the information? I appreciate any help I can get. Thanx

This is a good question to take to your college/university librarian, who can also teach you research techniques for anwering questions like this one. The librarian can show you some encyclopedias or dictionaries of psychology that might have relevant articles, and can help you find books in the library collection. Your tuition pays that person's salary, so don't hesitate to ask for time and attention. You can find some texts by Googling "cognitive psychology textbooks" and similar phrases, but you might as well start with what is available in your college library.
