what are the difference in prices between the two types of elevator (hydraulic & ropped )?

To much!!!!!!!! traction is more expensive $$$$$$$ but you must evaluate your need traction is faster and more efficience

Do you mean the difference between a direct acting hydro and a roped hydro? Please clarify.

Hydros run around $ 25,000 or so depeanding on what you get . Traction range more around $ 75,000 . But it all depeands on the needs of the building. How tall (norm. 6 and below hydro, above traction ), office or warehouse ,apt. etc .
