The Waldenses or Vaudois originated in Lyons , France around 1176 AD By Waldo (Valdes). He was later also known as Peter. When the Pope did not allow him to preach, he continued. Thus, was excomunicated in 1184 by Pope Lucius.

Waldenses in the Catholic Encyclopedia. They rejected purgatory and indulgences. They only accept the Lord's Supper and Baptism as Sacraments.

They survived banishments, burnings, the crusades by Innocent III in 1215 in France, the inquisition, the crusade of 1488 by Innocent VIII.

Once they were banished from France, they went into Italy, where they survived. They also went into Germany and Spain. They influenced John Husinac (Huss). Huss was also an influence for Martin Luther. In 1532 they adopted Calvism.

The Waldensian Church is still alive today primarily in Italy.

I am desceded from them on my mother's side.

But unlike Pedro Waldo (Valdes) who was influenced by Jesus' saying to the rich man :sell all you have and give to the poor , Pedro Waldo, did,

I was influenced by a dream I had on July 23, 2000. That is the time when Yahweh our God and his Son Jesus spoke to me. I was commisioned by them to preach.

That is the start of Christian Yahwism and later Universal Yahwism for me. From 1983 until 2000 I was a Catholic Yahwist.

It wasn't until July 2002, when I was told of the end of the (Roman) Catholic Church that the idea of having a Church came into existence for me. I was told I had to start one.

Other members of my family had dreams about it before me. From the dreams my mother had in January 2001, January 2002, my wife also in 2002, 2003, and 2004.

It was difficult at first. Unlike most people who have left the Roman Catholic Church, I believed my mission was to change it, not to start another to replace it.

2 of my children were baptized still as Catholics. The last two, as Christian Yahwists.

There are at the present time 6 Christian Yahwists and 3 Catholic Yahwists in my immediate family (That is they believe Jesus is not God Yahweh but accept everything else in the catholic Church), and the rest are Catholics.

Even my mother is a Catholic Yahwist now.

She was the first to tell me since 1999 that the Church (Roman catholic) would be destroyed.

The Roman Catholic Church on the other hand has in 2004 around 1,071 million baptized members. They represent 17.2 % of the World. There are 405,058 priests,30097 deacons,...and one Pope: John Paul II as of right now. The Pope and Cardinals and Catholic Church Worlwide.

Yet, before the 21 st century comes to a close, The Way-The Church of Yahweh in Christ Jesus will replace the (Roman) Catholic Church as the largest in the World. Our largest country will be China, followed by India,Mexico, Sudan, and The United States. Chinese , English, Spanish and Spanish will be the main languages, as dreamed by my wife and my mother.

Well it's a nice dream, but you have a long way to go. The Catholic Church currently includes 24.5% of the population of the United States. The Churches of Christ 1.2%.

Paul M, Elpidio isnt from the HCurch of Christ, he is instead the foudner of his own Church, called "The Way- The Churhc of Yahweh in Christ Jesus". This group started independantly base dupon his dreams, and is at this point comprising less than 1% of the total population. ( Indeed I doiung even a tenth of a percent.)

Paul M. I know it is going to be a long way, but according to my wife's dream she had in 2002, before she dies, there will be more than 20 million former Catholics in The Way-The Church of Yahweh in Christ Jesus.

Also, according to my mother, who still considers herself a catholic, people from all over the World will be coming to worship Yahweh at her house. That was in 2001. In her drams the sees the Vatican destroyed. She told me in January 1994 that the Pope had a debilitating condition. The press has been speculating it is Parkinson's Disease. The Vatican has admmited parts to that story. She had that dream in December 1993.

My mother said that one of my 4 children will guide the Church , The Way-The Church of Yahweh in Christ Jesus in the future. She described that Son to me. It wasn't until my 4th son was born that the physical characteristics of that son of mine she dreamed actually were there. She had those dreams in 2001, 2002, and 2003. My son was born in October 2003. My wife had dreamed that child in August 1999.

The strange thing is that the way he was dressed in her dreams was like that of the Syrian Orthodox Church.

They are the only Church which can truly trace their ancestry to the Apostle Peter (See Acts and Galatians)

But as I read your postings, you tend to sound more Anglican/Episcopelian lately.

Am I wrong, or your ideas are more conservative lately?Usually people from the Churches of Christ or the Disciples of Christ would have a tendency to get closer to my beliefs as time goes by, but yours tend to be more conservative (traditional Christian)lately.

As I mature, I become closer to Prthodoxy, as Orthodoxy tends to be a mature faith.

As C.S. Lewis became more and more Orthodox, so do I. As Aufustine embraced it at 30, so do I in my late 20's.

My Old parish when I was Catholic. I lived at one time a block away. President Bush (father and Son) lived about 4 blocks south from it around 1949.

Im only Portestnat by Virtue of attendign a Protestat HCurhc, but before that I as Church of Christ. As evertone shoudl know by now, Churc of Christ doesnt protest Rme, and is not built on Luther.

Thus I was never officially Protestnat to begin with, however, i was not in rome either. And still am not. I merely have my veiws, an this is suffecient. Thoug one day I will be Pope. ( OK Sorry bad joke. I knwo someone around here will get it...)
