I'm interested in rowing for fun and exercise, have lots of lakes in northeast Oklahoma. need info on what boat would be best and stable, doesn't matter what type hull, want to buy, possible price range up to 1500.00, don't mind to drive, just not cross country. weight 220 lbs, since by reading that is appears major factor. won't be racing, thanks, s. ward eshawnward@hotmail.com

One of the best places to start your search would be to contact Dave Lee of Prairie Rowing in Oklahoma City. He sells Maas boats and has a good working relationship with Pocock, too. He has a line on several used boats that fit your budget. His email is dave@prairierowing.com or you can Google on Prairie Rowing or just go to the www.maasboats.com web site and click on their dealers page.
