Yup, MIRKX appears to be a goner-if you are lucky you can get pages for this past Wednesday(Oct 13th)or part of Thurday(Oct 14th)

Did some enquiries and came up with zilch..

Apparently no one can contact MIRKX and it was a one man(?) deal ?

In any event this site is trying to do something about it

Finally - there seems to be less and less animes on suprnova.org

and of course

http://www.baka-updates.com but most animes are on IRC so it is virus time and waiting hell to freeze over in the queues..

Within 5 minutes you can get viruses/worms on irc..

If you're afraid of getting a worm or a virus, you can go to less popular channels, avoid warez network if possible, and don't set it to autoget files from anyone if you don't have to. Better yet, set it so you can only receive .avi, .ogm, .mkv, and .rar files.
