Jon Stewart on CNN's Crossfire

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Anarchy 2 : One Thread

Just a quick post. I'm really surprised with Stewart's conduct on Crossfire. I really admire how he didn't make a big joke out of his visit, and he stuck behind the things that he believed to be right 100%. I wish that more people actually watched it.

Who's the host of "Crossfire"? It's not O'Reilly, is it?

No, O'reilly has "The O'Reilly factor." You honestly have me on who hosts Crossfire. I never watch that show.

The cross fire transcript had a few lines that reminded me of the Stewart vs. O'Reilly. Ah, it was the crank Yankers reference, and it being an appropriate lead in for the show. Why Bill? Yes, what was it Bill said, "...80% of {the daily show} audience are stoned slackers.." You remeber that statement, right Bill?

Here is the data from Nielsen Media Research about the two shows:

Don't even get me started on O'Reilly. Before I discovered his show I was under the impression that one person could only be so full of shit. I stand corrected.
