can someone tell me how i can increase my torrent download speed and how to do it. the animes im looking for ARE IN torrents, and im having a very slow speed.

also, where can i download ova for hunter x hunter and slam dunk that are direct downloads!!!

well here the reason first u must have uploaders =) and here the other reason leave it forlike 20 hours lol it should be fast soon...it ain't your computer problem unless your using aol or dial up lol!!

whats wrong with using dialup for torrents? i do! and i still manage to get most of what i want. (granted it takes 6 hours to get 100mb) but still it works!

they say its about the firewall and the internet config... how do these affect downloading torrents???

firewall could see it as a danger and not let you download it because not all downloading is safe

If you're behind a firewall, allow bittorrent ports through the firewall. If you're behind an NAT Router (like a DSL/Cable Modem), you'll need to set up port forwarding. Check the manuals or tech support to find out how.

If you are using a router, try and get to the port forwarding section and open 6881-6889.

get the Azureus BT client http://azureus.sourceforge.net/, when you install it, you can configure the port and it will tell you weather it is the correct one by pressing the "test" button.
