I have an ashtray made of metal with the raised form of a nude woman circling the edge. It is dated 1932 and says M'Clelland Barclay. I would like some information on M'Clelland Barclay and am trying to find a value. It is 6&3/4" wide by 3&3/4 tall at the knees.

McLelland Barclay was a well known illustrator and artist. He did a famous portrait of General MacArthur, and won fame as the creator of the "Fisher Body Girl" and for his numerous covers for leading national magazines. I am also an illustrator. My work can be viewed at: http://www.geocities.com/bonnietgardnerartist/ Good luck!
