CHEERS!

Zarove

4 years from now you might not have a job!

however, 4 more years of No Kerry is worth a hearty cheer, imho, even though i still really do admire the fact that **he** put his life on the line for his country.

they say anything is possible in America. well pretty soon you might have an Austrian bodybuilder/ sexual predator for a president.

that's wierd.

Yes thats right, literally any rich white male could be elected.

-- ZAROVE (ZAROFF3@JUNO.COM), November 04, 2004.

I don't want to sound negative, Zarove, but here is the rest of the dream from July 4, 2004:

Like the old Spanish saying says, Zarove "Nadie sabe para quien trabaja, in the end, no one knows what he labored for"

Less than 2 years from now: Bush, Kerry, and Cheney will be dead, in this order.

That's besides Arafat, Renhquist, Thatcher, Gene Scott, Billy Graham,...

Since JUly 6 ,2004: #1 Eric Douglas, #2)Klestil,#3 Isabel sanford...#24 Christopher Reeve, #25 Ken Caminiti, #26 Julius Harris....Thes died already. He is a man....

I am on #27 from the line of 123 people. He is a man.

4 people had theur turns changed for now:Antonio Aguilar, Fidel Castro John Paul II, and George Bush.

One, Janet Leigh went from # 4 (to die in July)to # 21 (died in October). She still died.

nice one Zarove.

the Terminator vs the Terminatrix.

bet you the debates would be more amusing. Arnie would almost certainly slap her on the butt and tell her to get back in the kitchen - and then say --- "I never supported Nazism, i hate Nazis, I ...... mmmmm, ...... oh, i don't know, heck, [BIG GRIN] .... I'll be back".

cue moronic cheers and jeers and yelps and the rest.

My response at the Catholic Forum was deleted, Zarove. There I said Arafat was in the line of the People that will die within 3 years. David, I think as Christians our desire should be to do all that we can to help others find God and see heaven. Perhaps a recovery could lead to that for him -- we just don't know. Praying for him is what he needs most, not people predicting he will go to hell (which may happen, but not what we should focus on). I prefer to hope in God's mercy that people may have repented, even if at the last moment.

-- Emily ("jesusfollower7@yahoo.com), October 27, 2004.

[my answer at the Catholic Forum was here. It was deleted I believe by Paul M because not only did I include Arafat and Bush , but also the Pope. This goes to show you, Zarove. They can delete me but they can't shut the truth.]

Gosh, I predict that there’ll be an awful lot more than 123 people die in the next three years Elpidio. Or do only celebrities count as people? David, Arafat is far from perfect but don’t you think you’re getting just a LITTLE carried away? “evil in every sense of the word”?!? LOL!

Emily, as he has believed in the one true God all his life I don’t think he needs your help to “find God”. Who are you to say that he needs to “repent”? Sure he's done some bad things a few decades ago in the course of his long life, but don't you think the fact he is no longer doing them is evidence he has repented of them?

Zarove, in what sense is he “our enemy”? America’s enemy? When we REALLY needed him he was the one urging his fellow Arabs to support America after 9/11, and even donated his own blood for the victims. Christians’ enemy? He has spent all his adult life putting all his resources into trying to free Palestinian Christians and Muslims. He even married a Christian! Hardly the act of an "enemy"! -- Steve (55555@aol.com), October 28, 2004.

From Yahoo News today: AP Photo Arafat Fighting for His Life in Paris (AP) - A gravely ill Yasser Arafat reportedly slipped into a coma and anxious Palestinian officials held an emergency meeting Thursday on how to prevent unrest while their 75-year-old leader was fighting for his life. A swirl of reports that Arafat died were quashed by doctors at a French military hospital, who said he was alive.

"It was deleted I believe by Paul M because not only did I include Arafat and Bush , but also the Pope."

A: Yes, I did delete that post, not because you "included the Pope", but because the whole thing is utter nonsense regardless of who you included, and in any case has no relationship whatsoever to Catholicism, which is the subject matter of that forum.

-- Paul M. (PaulCyp@cox.net), November 04, 2004.

I believe John Gecik and David@excite also had something to do with it, Paul M.

The purpose of God Yahweh, Paul M. is for people to be ready not only when their time comes but in their everyday actions.

People don't have to like it.

There was a king that burned Jeremiah's warning as written by his scribe Baruch. That king in the end had his eyes plucked out and his children had their necks cut.

Another told king Ahab about his responsibility of the death of this man who had a vinyard. Ahab repented.

Another , Micaih told Ahab not to go to war. He did. He was killed just as the man of Yahweh told him.

King Hezekiah was told he was going to die. The guy was in his 30s. He asked for more time to prapare a succesor. He was given 15 years.

Paul was warned not to go to Jerusalem. He chose to go. He was imprisoned. Died a martyr's death at Rome.

Jesus was told of his coming betrayal and crucicifion. He chose death.

Judas was told about his betrayal.... we know the rest.

In the end, the choice is up to the individual.

I have my own mission.

That is why I am the Man of Yahweh whether people like or not.

That's my mission. The Pope has his own mission. Priests and deacons have their own too. Parents have their own mission too. And as for Bush, the Pope, Fidel Castro,...they know. I already either sent them a letter or e-mailed them.

Elpidio

Is Gene Scott that beatnic\hippy sort of religious telavangelist who occaionally played saxiphone (poorly) and asked for money because he was less of a hypocrit than the other "700" TV ministers?

-- Jim (furst@flash.net), November 04, 2004.

Hi Jim.

Yup, that kind of describes him. He did have a touch of criticism towards the other t.v. evangelists; he didn't consider himself as "one of them". I liked some of his views, though.

...............

-- rod (elreyrod@yahoo.com), November 04, 2004.

Oh, and his saxophone chops.....

He plays an alto sax with a super wide vibrato and a few note range--very safe scale. I heard him play on t.v. He didn't want to play and I could tell that he was a bit shy about playing. He sounded like a very subdued Jimmy Dorsey recovering from local anesthesia.

................

-- rod (elreyrod@yahoo.com), November 04, 2004.

On the way out huh?

Ill miss him more than any of the others. He had a truthfull scamminess about him.

-- Jim (furst@flash.net), November 04, 2004.

He never sent me that pyramid book. He joked about not sending it. I guess many listeners didn't get their books either. Uh, I never sent him any donations, so I guess we're even.

But, I did like some of the teachings.

Has Dr. Gene Scott died or something?

..............

-- rod (elreyrod@yahoo.com), November 05, 2004.

No, Rod, but he has been diagnosed with cancer. I work about 2 1/2 miles from his preaching place on Broadway at the now renamed University Cathedral. He was discussing his situation inlate September because there was an article in the LA Times.

Jim Furst, that's the man. I have been watching him since 1983. He used to use the measurements of the pyramid in biblical chronology and other esoterical predictions. That was in the 1980s early 1990s. Now he is back to basics: he uses Hebrew, Latin , Greek, Syriac (Aramaic), Coptic ...in discussing the Bible.

His biggest contribution is that when we come to partake of the Lord's Supper we must do it in a worthy way, in his own words :we must not do it "unworthily".

The Christian Yahwist

-- Elpidio Gonzalez (egonval@yahoo.com), November 05, 2004.

Scott made claims that the pyramid measurements coincided directly with the History of Christ and other important locations dealing with His walks on earth. I don't exactly place any weight on all of the controversies surrounding Scott. I do listen when he teaches about Christ' life and mission. I'm not too convinced of Scott's doctrines, though. Also, he will ask for money from his audience based on the listeners' monetary estimations of that teaching. That's a unique way of placing a price tag on what he is doing. It sounds fair and honest.

hey Zarove, i'v become a convert to the war in Iraq.

like to run it by you here, if that's OK.

Elpidio, are you interested in a chat on this?

it does have a complicated moral angle, so i hope that it qualifies as "postable" in these parts.

-- Ian (ib@vertifgo.com), November 09, 2004.

Anything is postable so long as it snit porofane or disrespectful tot he posters here...

And How dos oen convert to a war? One can oppose or support, but convert? I eman, is htis a religiosu beelif of yours now?

-- ZAROVE (ZAROFF3@JUNO.COM), November 09, 2004.

i have changed my views on the licitness of the invasion of Iraq.

i wanted to share this because its for unconventional reasons.

i think that Michael Moore has actually presented the case **for** war in his book.

if anyone is interested, i will go further.

-- Ian (ib@vertifgo.com), November 10, 2004.

ian,

may i ask you to continue, i'm interested to hear this...

-- paul h (dontSendMeMail@notAnAddress.com), November 11, 2004.

OK paul h.

there's a nasty moral issue at the end of this but it begins with home truths espoused by Michael Moore.

we know that Bin L was an avowed enemy of Saddam. Saddam was a secularist who used Islam whenever it suited him. he was certainly no fundamentalist Moslem. therefore, and this has always been known, the atrocity of 9/11 had nothing to do with Saddam. though he most likely was delighted that it had happened, he would have had NO involvement in it.

9/11 never directly justified an invasion of Iraq.

did it indirectly justify such an attack? that was argued on the basis of the existence of WMD's in Iraq that were going to be used by Saddam or terrorists. this could have been nailed down by further inspections, but Pres Bush seemed desparately keen to get in there before that happened.

as it happens, no WMD's have ever been found. the intelligence that suggested he had WMD's is now known to have been extremely unreliable. where there WMD's, well, other rogue states have WMD's for sure but nothing is ever done about it.

and finally the humanitarian argument - Saddam is nasty so we must help his people. well that apllies throughout the world. Iraq was singled out for special treatment.

now for Moore's obsession with the Saudis. well, he's right again. the Saudi Royal Family is split down the middle. as it stands, its the hedonistic westernised Saudis that rule the roost. they're very close to the Bush family, undeniably close.

Moore also highlights the fact that the vast majority of the murderers of 9/11 were Saudi, and that Bin L is an extremely wealthy and well-connected Saudi

all you need to add is that a huge swathe of the Saudi Royal Family are actually fundamentalist Moslems, and there is areal power struggle and serious pressure being brought upon Saudi to become a fundie state.

that's a real problem. what if Saudi went fundi Muslim?

well, personally speaking, i think that might create a new Dark Age. we are just hooked on oil. everything we do nowadays uses oil.

so how do you strike at Saudi, an ally of the US, without striking at Saudi.

you strike at Iraq because what that gets you is this:

1/ the US now has its hands on about 21% of the world's oil reserves. the new puppet state that emerges will ensure that the US never goes without. the US military machine will always be ready and able to travel anywhere to fight.

2/ the Saudi's now know that they cannot blackmail the US. the US is no longer almost totally reliant upon them. even if the fundies fail to seize control of Saudi, terrorism might result in the resruction of oil producing facilities. that will no longer hurt the US.

3/ this is a message too for Iran. get too heavy and we'll go in to your country too.

4/ you draw all the fundy Moslems from all around the world (the foreign Moslems in Iraq) into one couintry and one war and you kill them all off.

5/ you arrest all the other fundy Moslems from all around the world that you suspect of being terrorist and lock them all up on an island.

6/ and you did it by painting Saddam as Stain. even though he has been behaving this way for years and years and years.

all/ most of this can be found in Moore's latest book.

now, my point is twofold.

a/ we have been lied to. the stated reasons for the war were always sketchy and fanciful. but does that really matter?

b/ because, if you accept that the lesser of the two evils is war and death on a relatively limited scale in Iraq, then one can easily support this war.

yes, 9/11 has been used as a smoke screen. it got us all mad and emotional. and Bush made sure that he got in there before the smoke lifted. he couldn't do as the Pope advised, namely, wait.

i think US presence in the Middle East is for the good of us all. if the US goes down, so does the world.

this invasion will stop that happening.

now am i being barmy? i see the war as being against fundamentalist Islam, not against terrorism. it is in truth a Modern Crusade. Bush let that slip.

-- Ian (ib@vertifgo.com), November 11, 2004.

I believe that Ian is correct. The Muslims are a pain in the rear to the NWO and they have to be controlled. Sure they are nogoodnicks, but so is Israel. We are now stuck with this war and have to win it, but the trouble goes back to 1947 when the UN created the state of Israel. Actually back to the beginning of Freemasonry and the Illuminatti.

do you think its possible to convert a muslim to a christian? if so what evidence is substantial enough for someone of so much faith to believe in what i know to be the truth about Jesus ? one more quick question do you think that bush had anything to do with 9/11 ? considering the fact that twin towers was built to out last time itself ? or do you think its just a coincidence that the back of the 20 bill prophesies this happening to the towers, and the pentagon by airplane? sorry 1 more on my mind ... is bush a mason or a christian, or a mason posing to be a christian?

-- melanie a m (xcuriousxg@aol.com), December 02, 2004.

Melanie?

,b>"...that the back of the 20 bill prophesies this happening to the towers, and the pentagon by airplane? "

Please elaborate.

..............

-- rod (elreyrod@yahoo.com), December 02, 2004.

"do you think its possible to convert a muslim to a christian?"

Yes...

"if so what evidence is substantial enough for someone of so much faith to believe in what i know to be the truth about Jesus?"

The word of God is sufficient to produce faith. (Romans 10:17).

-- Kevin Walker (kevinlwalker572@cs.com), December 02, 2004.

rod , fold a 20$ bill in half long ways, with the back being on the outside , then lay it horizontal with the fold at the top , and fold up each side from the middle , now you have what looks to be a plane on one side and the twin towers burning on the other side.. same goes for the pentagon just a different fold
