Visititation by Mary and child

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Catholic : One Thread

Hello. I am not a catholic. However I dreamt this the other night. I was sitting in a white room in front of a mirror. A tall black woman dressed in white holding a black male child was standing to my side. They were both looking at me with expressions which I can only describe as a mixture exasperation and concern. She then moved forward and put her arm around me in an embrace. I felt the love of God and better than I have ever done in my life. A few days later I was on my way to work when a light surrounded me and the lyrics to LetitBe by the Beatles came into my head. I am not a Beatles fan. In my time of trouble, mother mary comes to me etc etc. I have not stopped crying, I am crying now. Please help me!

I can relate.

I had cancer surgery 5 years ago. I had a dream. In my dream there were twinkling lights on the left side of my field of vision. I remember thinking "That's cheap special effects." A voice (neither male nor female, authoritative but gentle) said, "Through intercession, your life has been extended". I awoke feeling absolutely awesome.

Like you, I still become very emotional when telling the story or comtemplating the ramifications.

I have talked with several priests and nuns about my experience.

One nun, a practicing psychologist, said, "You had a religious experience. People have them all the time. But, most people just don't recognize them".

Recognition of God's presence and will is paramount.

My life changed completely after my experience.

You have been touched by God. May you prosper from the experience and may God bless you on your journey.

John
