I am a 22 year old muslim girl who possess' some savings. I do not have substantial amount of gold. I am not living at home with my family. Is zakat obligatory on me? If so how much do i have to give, i know it is 2.5% of one's wealth possesed for at least a whole year. What do i calculate? Which organisation can i pay my zakath to?
