Actually we found the tomb last week with someone who was in a hypnotic-type clairvoyance mode. It is in Syria... the question is why on Earth it was moved to Syria!!!

Originally it was in Alexandria Egypt. It is now lost. It is believed it was moved at a later date and even destroyed by one of the last Ptolemys' (I believe Ptolemy IX in 89 BC melted down the Sarcophagus to make coins.). Julius Caesar even visited the tomb with Cleopatra in 45BCE. The last Roman emperor to visit was Caracalla in 215CE. It has been suggested that his tomb was destroyed during urban riots during Aurelians reign 270-275CE. It was by the fourth century that the tomb was last heard about.

Now some believe their are 4 possible locations for his final resting spot. 1) Under the Mosque of Nabi Daniel in Alexandria. 2) In Memphis, Egypt where Ptolemy I was said to have constructed a tomb to lay him to rest. 3) Based on the writings of Strabo, Archaeologist have found a cemetary site made with Alabaster walls, floors and ceilings. 4) Near the oasis of Siwa, where there is an Hellenistic temple, which has an inscription stating that A great king lies here or something to that affect. But water has barred any further excavation under the temple.

So to answer your question, No one knows!:(
