Alexander was a deeply spiritual men, a "philosopher-king" influenced by the greatest philosophers of his time, especially Aristotle. His mother was initiated into ancient esoteric school of mysticism and shared her views with Alexander since he was little boy. According to a legend, he was also influenced by Egyptian esoteric school via the last pharao of Egypt who found refuge in Macedonian court. He also had a beloved named Melissa, a pristess of another Greek Mystery school, who accompanied him through most of the campaign. Alexander had several seers in his court, esp. Aristander, who also influenced his philosophy of life and God. As a result of these influences as well as many others he was exposed to during his campaign, Alexander developed his own philosophy of love and brotherhood by the end of his short life. Once we find his Tomb in Syria, we will learn more his philosophy....

Alexander of Mecedon was a military commander and a king. He made no original contributions to philosophy and that is probably why you are having a hard time searching for this material.

He could have written very perceptively on military tactics and strategy, and on the political problems of ruling conquered territory. But those are rules of thumb, not a philosophic system.
