Heh, i know this is going to affect my credibility, since every time i mention my age someone always finds a reason to try and disqualify the point i am making based on how old i am, but I'm 22.

-- paul h (dontSendMeMail@notAnAddress.com), December 17, 2004.

I'm 23.

What about you, Nathan?

-- Emily ("jesusfollower7@yahoo.com"), December 17, 2004.

Old as dirt and twice as smart.

-- Paul M. (PaulCyp@cox.net), December 17, 2004.

28 in the old creation, but eternally new in Christ in the new creation.

-- Oliver Fischer (spicenut@excite.com), December 18, 2004.

At 41, I figure I'm halfway along.

-- Pat Delaney (patrickrdelaney@yahoo.com), December 18, 2004.

I have been 21 for the last ten years now. Hahahaha....Nathan, how old are you? I notice we have a wide range of ages posting here. That's great! I love to see young people who have independent thoughts and voices.

Thanks and glory be to God!

-- Suzanne (james-betsy@sbcglobal.net), December 18, 2004.

im 36, but like lesley, feel about 23. well, except in matters of faith-- i feel maybe 80! its always such a struggle!

wow emily, for some reason i had always pictured you as being younger than me. that'll teach me to make internet assumptions. i guess i'm still the youngest regular to the forum... and no offense taken zarove.

-- paul h (dontSendMeMail@notAnAddress.com), December 18, 2004.

I'm a 38yo mother of five and still get carded! VBG

-- jalapeno (jalapeno52000@hotmail.com), December 18, 2004.

I fear that ageism will rear its ugly head, young know nothings vs old fogeys. I hope that people will not be attacked on the basis of age, but on basis of well reasoned arguements and behavior.

I am 52.

-- Sean Cleary (seanearlyaug@hotmail.com), December 18, 2004.

Nathan, "age" is just a figure. I have had productive discussions on this board with people of all ages from 16 to 66. Let's just say I'm a baby-boomer.

-- Steve (55555@aol.com), December 19, 2004.

16.

-- Anti-Bush (comrade_bleh@hotmail.com), December 19, 2004.

David,

Are you really 79? If so, my hat's off to you and your wife for adopting and raising your daughter. That's an even nobler deed than I thought.

Best,

Frank

No Frank I'm not! I was just kidding because age is just a number. I am still younger than Brian. :-0

Thanks for the kind words though. My wife and I are going to (please God) adopt another baby hopefully by the end of 2005. Please rember us in your prayers.

May God bless all the hungry children in this world.

-- - (David@excite.com), December 21, 2004.

Wow, David you sure had me fooled. I had thought you were younger due to having a young child, but wondered when you posted that if it was an imposter. When you said nothing, I figured it must be true.

-- Emily ("jesusfollower7@yahoo.com"), December 21, 2004.

Wow, that’s an amazing piece of hypocrisy even by Davey boy’s lax standards. A few months ago he went absolutely ballistic and continually badgered another poster, who had been honest enough to admit that he had SLIGHTLY exaggerated his age to avoid being condemned as an ignorant teenager. Old Davey boy just kept on vilifying him as a wicked liar. But good “old” Davey boy sees nothing wrong with then turning around and lying barefaced for no reason that he’s old enough to be his own grandfather, then laughing it off when he’s caught out. The hide of a rhinoceros.

-- Steve (55555@aol.com), December 21, 2004.

Laurent,

Wishing you and your Catholic family a very blessed Christmas over in Belgium.

-- - (David@excite.com), December 21, 2004.

".. then laughing it off when he’s caught out. The hide of a rhinoceros.."

"caught" LOL Steve. It was a joke. I have been posting with Frank over 4 years. My age has been said at least 10 times in this forum along with most regulars that have been here over a year.

Sorry if I "fooled" you and Emily. I know everyones age( or close to it). I was joking with Nathan for asking.

Mr.LUG IS 39 OR 40 NOW.I guess I sometimes I rember things other people don't. I rember your first post in this forum with a post to a question asked by MaryLu.

I am still in my 30's( 6 ft4 ripped with muscles and have my degrees in karate and self defense :-))LOL. I am not smart like paul with the books.

I won't kid about my age ever again.

-- - (David@excite.com), December 22, 2004.

David , I'm 37 ==> DIRTY seven :D (Thirty Seven)

Anyway , I knew you were just a bit younger than me , so that's why I was joking with the age of 97 (very nasty) :) !!

Sorry , I don't celebrate dec.25 , but ....

Happy Hollidays from this side of the world to you all !!

btw: David , you still got my e-mail , I'm sure (it's the one I was using as my last e-mail on this forum) !! __ I've still got your oldone on my list !!

(My first posts , if I'm correct , it was on August 19, 2001)

David,

79 and adopting? Wow, I thought you were like brian.crane@cranemills.com), December 22, 2004.

Doh! lets try again ...I thought you were like this stud ;-)

-- Brian Crane (brian.crane@cranemills.com), December 22, 2004.

Close to that "stud" Brian. Except I'm a handsome man. :-0 lol

Laurent,

Send me a e-mail to my old address and I can check it for about another month. I rember your first e-mail years ago. It was "Relegion suxx", but my old e-mail book got deleted and I lost most of the information for your newer one.

May God bless you, and bring you back to your Catholicism that you left years ago.

-- - (David@excite.com), December 22, 2004.

thanks for the compliment david, i've learned alot from you though, along with everyone on this forum. i would have to say that i was definately not headed in a very good direction, politically, prior to coming here and learning how what we want to be right and what IS right are two very different things. I know i flaunt my major from time to time, only in scientific debate as a credibility factor, but i do have deepest respect for all majors and walks of life, we all are important in some regard, and there is no person who cannot teach me a new lesson about life.

-- paul h (dontSendMeMail@notAnAddress.com), December 22, 2004.

I'm 23 and a 5'7 brunette. I am a photographer's model (sometimes), Otherwise an office assistant. Modeling is my living and office assistant is my hobby. The trouble is that I have to work more at my hobby so that I can make a living modeling.

-- Kit (Alexanderj@yahoo.com), December 22, 2004.

49 for another 3 months.

-- Jim (furst@flash.net), December 22, 2004.

Great “joke” Davey boy, you ought to be in showbiz. I’ve been following this forum pretty closely for 8 months and no-one’s alluded to your age before. But I found it much easier to imagine you as a cranky intolerant 79 year old. (Though your bad spelling did confuse me, because I thought educational standards were better in the 1920s, but then I thought maybe English is not your first language.)

“i was definately not headed in a very good direction, politically, prior to coming here and learning how what we want to be right and what IS right are two very different things.” Interesting, paul, would you care to elaborate?

-- Steve (55555@aol.com), December 22, 2004.

Steve, do you ever pray before you type things on this forum? Just a question.

-- Oliver Fischer (spicenut@excite.com), December 23, 2004.

Steve-55555,

Please stop using the disrespectful phrase, "Davey boy."

I don't see David calling you "Stevie-girl-666," despite your many provocations that would justify his doing so.

-- C.P. (cpetersen@bigbay.com), December 23, 2004.

Interesting, paul, would you care to elaborate?

sure, prior to coming here to this forum i was definately pro gay rights and becoming more and more pro-choice because i was stupidly allowing myself to be sucked into the moral relativism that wracks society today. I can't say that the forum was the only factor in my turning from this view, but it was definately a part of it.

-- paul h (dontSendMeMail@notAnAddress.com), December 23, 2004.

Very OFF-Topic:

David , check your old e-mail ;)

BACK-Topic:

Salut & Cheers from a NON BELIEVER:

-- Laurent LUG (.@...), December 23, 2004.

Oliver, yes, I often pray during the time that my computer takes to download a page. Something I recommend to all posters.

CP, I guess you haven’t noticed the “provocations” that Davey boy spews out about me, my friends and family. It goes way beyond “disrespectful”. He hasn’t objected to me calling him that, and as he is a male and is younger than me it is hardly disrespectful. OTOH, I am NOT a girl, nor have I shown that I in any way resemble the Beast of the Apocalypse, so your reference to me as both these is extremely disrespectful as well as inaccurate, to say the least.

Paul, yes, I have found with “gay rights” in particular it is so easy to get sucked into the popular idea that “it doesn’t hurt anybody” if we don’t have a solid grounding and continual exposure to the truths which the Church teaches. Thank God the Church is one institution not swayed by the ebb and flow of fashionable ideologies!

-- Steve (55555@aol.com), December 23, 2004.

I'm 26 and have been married for 6 months now :)

P.S. Ya Paul H. I as well thought you were older, at least late 20's or early 30's. Mostly because of the way you speak. Usualy everything sounds mature and wise. :)

-- Jason (Enchantedfire5@yahoo.com), December 23, 2004.

Laurent,

I haven't been able to get in to account. I will be in touch soon. (hopefully soon)

God bless you

-- Leslie John (lesliemon@hotmail.com), December 29, 2004.

I AM 16, but believe me, not a naive, regular teen....I could hold my own

David , just send a mail to my__way_ , you'll find it here somewhere on this forum , I will close that account within a few months , I think , end of februari ,'cause , since a few months , yahoo gives you a 250MB free mailaccount :)
