It's weird... since i was little it's never snowed here, never even been as cold either.

I think global warming has something to do with it.

Hi David,

I've had people tell me that it snowed back in the 1950's. I do remember the big freeze in '83 and '89 (it killed the citrus industry). It did kind of snow for about 10 seconds and there was ice on the ground back then.

But, yeah! it was nice to actually see snow this year. The whole family went out and played in it for awhile.

It seemed like a perfect Christmas having the snow fall in the Valley. Who would have thunk it?!

Hi Jim.

It must be that global warming or something. My in-laws up in the northern part of Illinois are experiencing fridged temperatures, but no snow. That's kind of weird for them. Funny, I vowed never to travel up North during Christmas. I didn't want to hassle with blizzards and sub-zero wind chill factors. So, what happens? We get the snow storm and fridged stuff here. Well, at least I'm not stuck in an airport wondering when departures and arrivals will coordinate with lost luggage, like one dreadful year.
