I have just bought my husband a railway lantern (through ebay) and it has a marking on the top'CIML'. I've just about gone crazy trying to research this marking through the internet, and have just found this question site.

Any ideas?

It has been freshly painted in red, and has a kerosene burner inside, and a round glass panel on each of the 4 sides.
