I broke my left Fib at Easter and had a steel plate put in as well as a syndesmotic screw. The screw came out but I was still in a lot of pain and badly swollen. An x-ray showed a non-union of the fib.

I saw a doctor before Christmas who felt a bone graft from my hip was the probable best course of action. I would like to be able to suggest any alternative strategies to my surgeon when I see him on 4 Jan. All thoughts welcomed.
