Now THOSE are the words of a well-balanced, decent individual. The people I meet and work with have none of the racist viewpoints being talked about on some of these threads. I work with Asians, Latinos (LEGAL citizens), whites and a few blacks. There are dicks in all races, but I find that its mostly a matter of personality and not a race-based behavior.

O.k., so try and give me an honest answer here: Who would you rather have as your next-door neighbor, an U.S. citizen who is a murderer and child abuser who got out on a technicality, or an illegal alien who works for his living, and other than entering this country illegally, has no criminal record or actions?

What a load. This answer shows you really don't KNOW anything about our immigration history, but are just trying to bluster your way by. Actually, before the late 1800's, the country was pretty much wide open, and only when there were more Southern European Catholics than Western European Protestants immigrating did people start clamoring for a restrictive immigration policy. Then the Asians, mainly Chinese started coming in, and the same guys (your ideological sires) passed a literacy requirement (setting up a level of education not required for the native born) as well as later making a requirement that there couldn't be more than 3% immigration of the population that was already present here (which was later changed to 2%).

This means that if you had a large population in the U.S., you had a chance of immigrating, and if your countrymen weren't here already, tough. This is NOT fair, and does NOT reward the individual, but really represents a form of nepotism that is pretty shameful for the "land of the free". Of course you knew that, right? I'm still waiting to hear the "proofs" for our immigration policies you mentioned...

What is unfair is that these Mexishit illegals are making it more and more difficult for the Southwestern and Western States to support the influx. Yes, they are mostly working in the fields, but many are criminals fleeing crimes in Mexico, or drug dealers, or even foreign nationals using Mexico as their last stop before entering the US illegally to do.....what? Nobody carted those illegals into ships or trains and FORCED them to be here and work as slaves. No Mexicans were instrumental in the nation-building of the United States. There is no issue. The illegals are criminals, and there is no way to morally or legally defend them.

Here is an analogy:

First, I would like to know the murder rate of 50,60 years ago, when blacks were being hung up on trees. those people did not commit suicide. Second, I would like to know how poverty affects the crime rate rather then race, not because of p.c., but because white or black, poor people, will steal/murder. I am not saying poverty should not be an excuse, I am saying let's see the problem for what it is. Hispanics may get mixed up in caucasian statics but so do african americans in hispanics.

Over the past 20 years, the U.S. has become the rainbow coalition putting incompetent women and minorities in positions that they don't belong. Two space shuttles destroyed and 14 astronauts died because of affirmative action incompetence and the U.S. is being invaded by the third world losers. This country will be a third world hell hole in the near future because of this, look at Los Angeles, it is now considered a third world city in reference to literacy, most people cannot spell their own name. Women in the U.S. are proud to be single welfare mothers and think they look just precious with all their tattoos. Black people think they can do no wrong and everyone owes them a living. The U.S. is going to get what it deserves.

The United States became one of the most powerful countries in the world in the shortest amount of time. The country is less than 300 years old, now compare that to countries in Africa, Asia, the Middle East and even Europe. No country has ever become so powerful in such a short time. Our computer technology is now copied and manufactured all over the world. We got men on the moon using slide rules and white men wearing white shirts and thin black ties. We did loose 3 men in the process of getting to the moon, but white men did all this and more.
