During the Christmas holidays, I was in Macon, GA, and happened to notice an old abandoned structure between the downtown Macon Terminal Station and NS's Brosnan Yard.

The structure looked like a large coaling tower. It was just after sundown, and it was difficult to determine what it was. What was it?
