Do I qualify for greencard?

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Immigration Law - Law Offices of Michael Boyle : One Thread

I dont qualify for Green Card through any other procedures than marriage. I have an american boyfriend since 2 years but we never considered to marry, but may do so for legal purposes. My question is: I was illegal in the US from 1988-1994 but paid my taxes. I returned to the US in 2002 on a 10-year visa but did not overstay. I travel to USA four times a year for 2 weeks at a time and have EU passport. If I marry a citizen and wish to share 6 months of the year in US and my business overseas, do I qualify? I dont have educational qualifications, but have had professional jobs my whole life. Please send response to email address.

You should not consider marrying someone "for legal purposes." ie for an immigration benefit. It is a fast road to deportation.
