Is it just me or am i one of the few that sees the importance in His Name..? Below are the list of verses that emphasizes the importance, glory and power of His name..

Exodus 3:14 -15 - And God said to Moses, "I AM WHO I AM." ....... This is My name forever, and this is My memorial to all generations. Exodus 9:16 - But indeed for this purpose I have raised you up, that I may show My power in you, and that My name may be declared in all the earth. psalm 29:2 Give to the Lord the glory due to His name. Psalm 68:4 Sing to God, sing praises to His name. Extol Him who rides on the clouds, by His name YAH, and rejoice before Him. Psalm 72:19 And blessed be His glorious name forever! And let the whole earth be filled with his glory. Psalm 79:6 Pour out Your wrath on the nations that do not know You, and on the kingdoms that do not call on Your name. Psalm 100:3 Let them praise Your great and awesome name - He is holy. Proverns 18:10 - The name of the Lord is a strong tower, the right(eous) run to it and are safe. Proverbs 30:4 - Who has ascended into Heaven or descended? Who has gathered the wind in his fists? Who has bound the waters in a garment? Who has established all the ends of the earth? What is His name, and what is His Son's name, if you know? Isaiah 12:3a - Praise the Lord, call upon His name, delcare His deeds among the peoples, make mention that His name is exalted. (You'll notice 12:2a says For YAH the Lord is my strength and song.) Isaiah 64:7 - And there is no one who calls on Your name. (Like the present times!) Micah 4:5 - For all people walk each in the name of their god, but we will walk in the name of the Lord, our God. Forever and ever. Matthew 1:21 And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name Jesus, for he will save His people from their sins.

Acts 2:21— And it will come to pass that whoever calls on the Name of the Lord will be delivered.

Romans 10:13— For Whoever calls with the Name of the Lord will be saved. Rev 3:8 I know your works. See, I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it. For you have a little strength have kept My word and have not denied My name.

So is His name God? or even Lord? Our only law concerning His name is to not use it in vain. Doesnt mean we shouldnt be allowed to utter or even acknowledge his name at all. it just doesnt make sense to me.. Not once in the bible did He say we are not to pronounce His name. In fact, we're supposed to praise it. So how come we're praising "God" ...?

"God" is a type of being, not a name. Humans are what we are, but we each have a name. so am i still one of the few that feels this way? I hope not.

There is no word that can actually encompass all of God's attributes.

But simply stated, we use one:

YAHWEH

The Christian Yahwist

The Man of Yahweh

And I dot relaly tinl God midns what we clal him, so long as we do call upn him, this is what is important.
