A POEM

Age brings wisdom.

Women love men.

Father knows best.

Men love women.

Honesty is the best policy.

All men are created equal.

The family is the foundation of society.

Policemen are our friends.

Jesus loves you.

Age brings wisdom.

Hmm, what is wisdom without virtue?

Women love men.

True women love True men.

Father knows best.

Those fathers who follow Christ generally know best.

Men love women.

Yes. They do as their own flesh.

Honesty is the best policy.

Truth is the best policy. Honesty and discretion do make great habits.

All men are created equal.

That's not in Scriptures. That's a secular idealism.

The family is the foundation of society.

No man is an island. Yeah, the family is the foundation of a society.

Policemen are our friends.

Signs of a broken society when they are not friendly to society, but are actually a thorn in the side.

Jesus loves you.

Thanks!

WOW this is some wierd ass stuff

-- Frank calhoon (cameraboy@yahoo.com), January 19, 2005.

i think this is meant to be sarcastic...i think that the 'policemen are our friends' says everything...

age doesn't bring wisdom

love is just an illusion(in most of the cases)

why should father know the best?

people can take advantage of your honesty sometimes and sometimes you have to lie to save yourself

nobody is created equal, the one is prettier, the other uglier, the one is dumber, the other is smarter...etc

lies are the foundation of society,yes...partly correct family is part of it

the policemen annoy us for irrelevant things, instead of fighting the real crimes, they have to 'some' work,so they annoy us...

jesus has been dead for 2000 years now...how can he love ME?

SDQA

In your perception, Jesus doesn't exist, so why would you wonder if He loves you? It seems that you would settle for answering your own questions with your own answers. You will not accept any other answers, would you?

Father knows best" is not always true. There are bad fathers out there. Probably more than a few.

I think the expression comes as a generalization that "many" have found to be true. A "truism."

My father always thought he was right, always telling me I should do it "this" way, or why not do it "that" way. It used to drive me crazy because he usually had it right even if I wouldn't admit it. But he was one of the good ones.
