Did the Naruto manga end? The last chapter i read was the ending to Kakashi's story, and it's been about 3 weeks since that release. Is the author taking a break?

I mean, there is so much that is left undone. It shouldnt be able to end like this. Maybe the author is sick? not feeling well? or on vacation, no idea.

I heard that it's not over, but the author is still working on the newest volume. The set is not complete, meaning that the author will keep doing a volume. Since it's one week per chapter, meaning 2 1/2 months will finish one volume, maybe less. However, is 2 1/2 months enough for the author to continuously work to create the new manga, and get it published, then make millions of copies of it?

This is just my guess, but before the Kakashi side-story, at the end of chapter 238, the captions say "everything focuses on three years from now", and "part 1 completed"- so I'm thinking that the next Naruto manga will be the begining of part 2, with Naruto three years older after his training with Jiraiya. Kishimoto Masashi makes no secret of Toriyama's (DB,DBZ,DBGT) influence on his work in Naruto, and I think this is similar to the Dragonball characters aging throughout that series. Maybe the Naruto series will have a new name or something too, like Naruto Z. Just kidding, but I'm betting the Naruto series is going to undergo a huge evolution, which would explain the Kakashi side-story and the manga's recent lengthy hiatus.

actualy i believe the chapters have stoped because there is a movie in the making and that is tying up the author. naruto fan has the movie manga if you want it but that is what i heard. i actualy have the manga. it isnt very good but whatever. also it might be because naruto is being licensed in america soon but im not sure when. well have fun guys and gals ~LHK
