Call upon the Lord, and he will defend thee in times of trouble

[Edited your title, Zarove] Call upon the Lord, and he will defend thee in times of trouble. He offers sanctuary, and gives help to those in need who cry his name. He remembers our offerings and our cries.

He grants the measure of thy heart, and offers thy desires to thee if thou wilt serve him, and not sin and death. So rejoice in thy salvation, and in his knows that thou shalt have rest.

The Lord hearest his own when they call, and saves them with his strength, and preserves them form destruction.

Some trust in riches, others in armies, and other s still in machines, but we trust in the Lord.

They who trust in the others fall, and yet those who trust in the Lord are risen form ashes.

The Lord saves all who call upon his Holy name.

Response to ANOTHER UNTTLED POEM...

As long as you call him by his name, Zarove: Yahweh.

Lord is not his name.It is just a title.

Titltes are meanignful as well, Elp. Considering Im British, a Title can be more meanignful than a Proper name...especally to a classically British Mind... think on it.

Response to ANOTHER UNTTLED POEM...

I know:

The Queen, Prince of Wales,....

But for us they are meaningless now. Americans:USA, Mexico, Guatemala,Peru,Venezuela,....we did away with titles after Independence.

Yet we created new ones: Mr. President....
