After breaking my leg (both tibia and fibula with a spiral fracture), and having my full leg cast removed and exchanged for one below the knee, I find that there is intense pain in the knee area when I bend my knee at a 90 degree angle and try to lift my leg. In fact, any bending motion between 75-90 degrees registers pain. Is this just a cramp of some sort (I've had the cast off for three days already, and the full leg cast was on for about 8 weeks)or some other problem?
