Guess what I got?

My little puppy came yesterday!!!! Went to the airport to pick her up at 5:30 and they bumped her till 10:30. The poor thing was so scared when she got here. I kept hugging her saying I was sorry and kissing her. Then she kissed me back and it was love : )

Ayla is settling in really well. She is so tiny. She has to lean back in order to see you. Bounces around the kitchen. I was showing a friend her new bed once she is housebroken and she just climbed in and went to sleep. Later, she dragged her new ferret toy in and tried to pull out those pesky whiskers off it's face.

Yes, I know, I have to get some pictures out. I took some cute ones, just have to get them out in cyper somewhere.

And get this, Glenn LOVES her!!

Congratulations Dee!

I meant to post saying that Glenn would probably be charmed by her once he saw her. See? I was right! ;-) Too bad it's winter and you have housebreaking to do . . . .

I'm so glad Glenn is not being a brat about your puppy! Puppies melt barriers, eh? (Until she pees on your bed anyway). :)

And I think she likes him the best too.

Joy, I am planning on keeping her on WeeWee pads/litter box training her because she will be so little full grown. Actually makes housebreaking ALOT easier. She runs to the pad most of the time already.

Glad your new puppy arrived safely and that Glenn loves her, Dee!!! Maybe it's just me but...it was easier for me to housebreak pups during winter 'cause they didn't want to spend much time outside!!! I would tell them to "go potty" and they seemed to catch on fast and do their business so they could get back inside!. They learned the command of "go potty" lots faster than any other command :-)!!!!

Pictures...we want PICTURES!!!

And another little "thing" just for you, Dee!!!

> Dog Walking >>>>>>

> > > A little girl asked her Mom, "Mom, may I take the dog for a walk around the block? Mom replies, "No, because she is in heat." "What's that mean?" asked the child. "Go ask your father. I think he's in the garage." The little girl goes to the garage and says, "Dad, may I take Belle for a walk around the block? I asked Mom, but she said the dog was in heat, and to come to you." Dad said, "Bring Belle over here." He took a rag, soaked it with gasoline, and scrubbed the dog's backside with it and said, "Okay, you can go now, but keep Belle on the leash and only go one time around the block." The little girl left, and returned a few minutes later with no dog on the leash. Surprised, Dad asked, "Where's Belle?"

> > > YOUR GONNA' LOVE THIS!!!!!!!!!

The little girl said, "She ran out of gas about halfway down the block, so another dog is pushing her home."     :-) :-) :-)!!!!

So....how's the housebreaking going, Dee???!!

Surprisingly well. Since I don't have to worry about her going outside, she "usually" finds the weewee pad. Sometimes only with her front feet while her hinny is off the pad but it's worth a treat that she tried. Now if I can only get her to stop eating her poo YUCK!!!
