Does anyone know of the parent's of a robert L Hinson B 10-18-1883 d. 4-7-1953 and his brother Finley A Hinson b. 5-16-1882 d. 11-14-1954. Both are buried at Smith Grove PBC in Oakboro. I was tld their parent's were Henry H and Nancy Crisco Hinson. Both were never married.

Betty: Robert L. Hinson and Finley A. Hinson are the sons of Henry H. Hinson and his second wife, Nancy Crisco. Henry H. Hinson was first married to Nancy Speight on 27 November 1851 in Stanly County. Nancy and Henry had 5 children, 3 of whom lived to adulthood. Nancy Speight Hinson died 28 March 1860. Henry Hinson is in the 1880 Stanly County, Big Lick Dist., HH#177 with his 2nd wife, Nancy. According to the census they were married during the census year. A record of their marriage has not been located. In the 1880 census F. Adam Hinson was their youngest son, born in May 1880. This differs from the dates on his headstone at Smith Grove PBC. According to census records Henry H. Hinson was born about 1824 and died about 1889. He is buried in the Carver Cemetery near Oakboro with no dates on his headstone. Henry's parents are Charles & Millie Hinson.
