Goldschieder Bronze or Brass Sculpture : LUSENET : Art Deco Society of Washington : One Thread

I have a lovely Goldschieder, a nude young woman stretching with an upraised arm, it is mounted on a marble base. Embedded in the base is a gold plate. On that plate is embossed a figure of an artist at an easel sculpting a figure. The words F. Goldschieder appear on the bottom of the plate. I believe that the words, Paris, Rome, New York appear also, there is Italian or Latin writing on one side. I cannot read it with the magnifing glass at my disposal. I have been told it is a "Gallery Piece". I have never seen a metal Goldschieder statue before. Can you tell me something of it's origin and value?
