Can a Catholic married to a non catholic, but who's marriage was later blessed by a priest, and who is subsequently divorced; receive communion upon the death of thre former spouse?

Response to Death of ex spouse and communion

Actually you could receive Communion even before the spouse died as long as you did not remary without an annulment. This of course takes into consideration the other prerequisites for Communion - reasonable belief to be in a state of grace (i.e. not in a state of mortal sin).

So yes, go to Communion. You can even remarry now without an annulment as your spouse's death frees you from that former bond.
