WOW!? wut can i say. You had me goin up until u started talkin about how the 4th hokage turned into a baby. And if the 3rd hokage was fighting Orochamaru how could Orochamaru be summoning the 3rd. he would be summoning the 4th now wouldn't he. The fourth did seal the 9 tails into some one, and it was Naruto himself. he didn't turn himself into a baby. He implanted the 9 tails into the unborn baby. The reason the 3rd didn't want Orochamaru to summon the 4th was beacuse: 1) he is old. 2) He already has to deal with the first 2 hokages. and 3) the fourth is the strongest hokage of the leaf.

guys stop being imature... seriously... i think the 4th Yondaime is related to Naruto. it could be his son, nephew, whatever. Naruto definetly isnt Yondaime himself becuz there is no jutsu that gives you youth like that. well at the time there wasnt. Orochimaru is the only one who can have youth and it is impossible to survive after completely sealing the enemy fox since it is too strong. Cubi was sealed into a relative of the 4th's

Ok...this is the biggest question in the manga. And guess what...its meant to be the biggest question! There really is no way of knowing until it is revealed to us. All we know is that Yondaime looks like Naruto, nothing more.

the manga and the anime gave so many hints....

okay spoilers ahead: (not in any particular order)

1. itachi said he was after the yondiame's inheritance which is naruto 2. the flashbacks of the third hokage, before he was about to die, was showing everyone in the village. INCLUDING the fourth hokage holding a little blonde baby boy (guess who). 3. the fact that naruto is an orphan, the fourth hokage died thanks to that jutsu to seal the nine tails demon...as for naruto's mom...don't ask me. 4. how can naruto be the fourth hokage????? the jutsu the fourth uses will kill ya! 5. WHEN THE THIRD USED THAT SEALING JUTSU WHO THE HELL DO YOU THINK WAS THE GUY IN THAT CHAKRA FORM????? you know when that death dude extended his hand through that chakra soul thingy...the fourth ppl! 6. when the third was describing the characteristics of that jutsu he used to seal orichimaru's arms, it said not only will the user die but also suffer in the afterlife with eternal battles or something...

anyway that's my theory of who naruto is...

while i was reading the manga, the part where orochi takes a new body, a thought crossed my mind: the person who was being possessed by orochi could be a relative of naruto since he has blonde hair, and he talked about his clan being taken away for experiment by orochi...maybe uzumaki clan..hehe.

The fourth sealed the fox demon into Naruto while he was still in the womb. This triggered his birth which killed his mom. Remember how Gaara's mother died?

I think that Naruto is the Fourth's son and his mother died in the fight against the kyuubi before the Fourth arrived and used the death sealing jutsu, that how I think

My theory is I think a pretty logical. While the fourth was sealing the ninetails inside Naruto he sealed some of himself in Naruto too. Since that happened it caused Naruto to resemble him.

Contributing to the new series in Manga, u learn the Akasuki is probably looking for all the tailed demons. Thats why they want naruto, becuase he's the ninth, and garra was the one tail. That is why there are 9 akasuki members one for each tail, thus one for each demon. At least thats what I think. plus eZuDin, your teory is okay but it does have flaws. But hey let me know what u think of my theory on the new season.

Wow, that's interesting, the whole one person per tail thingy. I didn't even know that Akatsuki was searching for TAILED demons. I knew they were searching for the great ones, but not tailed ones. wow. personally, i have no new revoltionary theory. i think that fourth is naruto's pops and that he sealed kyuubi (that's how it's spelt you morons!! there's no "c" in japanese!! "nine" is "kyuu" and tail is "bi". "nine tails"!!) into naruto because he loved him. he knew that naruto would face hardships, but he wanted him to i guess, to make him stronger. I think he knew that naruto would grow up without friends if he was kyuubi, and he wanted it that way so that when Naruto did get friends, they would be very special to him and more meaningful than most. I think he knew that those types of frineds that saw beyond Naruto having kyuubi would fill some of the void that would come from having no parents or relatives. I mean, fourth knew that if he went out to fight kyuubi he would not come back alive, so he knew that he had to seal kyuubi into naruto. Maybe Naruto's mom dyed in childbirth and that reinforced fourth's need to give kyuubi to naruto, to start that chain of events. To give him future friends to make up for the parents Fourth knew naruto would never have.

Well right. I DO think that the fourth is somehow related to naruto MOST likely his dad. Or he could be Naruto's uncle whose parents died fighting the kyuubi thus making him an orphan and the fourth his legal guardian and thennnnnn... wait no that might sound a tad too long winded for an anime don't you think. So there the fourth is his.... FATHER! His mum died during childbirth, and yes i do think that the 9 tails and 9 akatsuki members theory is cool except for the fact that Orochimaru was ALSO from the Akatsuki and if they only needed 9 members they wouldn't have let him joined. Remember Orochimaru quit on his own accord. So unless they can explain why they had 10 Akatsuki members before, like maybe there was a ten tailed demon who died of flu(lol), I'd just wait around instead of speculating. Oh wait anime and mangas tend to NOT make sense soemtiems so maybe the 9 tailed theory is right. Right?
