I read a couple of books (in France, in French) I THOUGHT were by Boris Vian... therein one is a bus ride, very surreal and the bus keeps going and going and more but I am not sure what...in another (or maybe the same one???) is a mother with her babies who can fly so she keeps them in a cage...and the red grass...but I re-read "L'herbe rouge" and that was NOT it! If anyone could help me with this I would really appreciate it. I read these a long (1976-80)time ago when I was learning French so my memories of these stories or the author(s) could be blemished.
