On November 3, we members of the Catholic Church family honor, in a special way, the following friends of God -- "saints" and "blesseds" whose souls are now in heaven:

St. Martin de Porres of Lima (Peruvian, Dominican brother, beggar, infirmarian, died at age 59 in 1639 [beatified 1873, canonized 1962])

St. Acepsimas of Cyrrhus (Syrian, hermit priest, 5th century)
Sts. Acheric and William (French, hermits, Benedictine monks, c. 860)
Bl. Alpais of Cudot (French, peasant, limbless leper, lived on the Host alone, virgin, died at about age 56 in 1211 [beatified 1874])
St. Amicus of Monte Cassino (Italian, priest, hermit, Benedictine monk, c. 1045)
Bl. Berthold of Engelberg (German, Benedictine abbot, d. 1197)
St. Clydog (British, nobleman, 6th century)
St. Cristiolus (Welsh, 7th century)
St. Domnus of Vienne (French, bishop, d. 527)
St. Elerius (Welsh, monk, 6th century)
St. Englatius of Tarves (Scottish, bishop, d. 966)
St. Florus of Lodève (French, bishop, d. 389)
St. Gaudiosus of Tarazona (Spanish, monk, bishop, c. 585)
St. Germanus, Theophilus, Caesareus, and Vitalis, of Cappadocia (from Asia Minor [now called Turkey], martyred in 250)
St. Guenhael of Landevenec (French, abbot, c. 550)
St. Hermengaudio of Urgell (Spanish, bishop, d. 1035)
St. Hilary of Viterbo (Italian, deacon, martyred by beheading c. 300)
St. Hubert of Liege [Apostle of the Ardenne] (French, count, widower, bishop, died at about age 70 in 727)
Bl. Ida of Toggenburg (German, countess, Benedictine nun, died at about age 70 in 1226)
Holy Martyrs of Zaragoza (Spanish, an “innumerable multitude,” martyred c. 304)
St. Malachy O'More of Armagh [Maolmhaodhog ua Morgair] (Irish, abbot, bishop of Down and Connor, archbishop of Armagh, healer, died in France at about age 54 in 1148 [canonized 1190 –- first papal canonization of an Irish saint])
St. Oda (noblewoman, virgin, 12th century)
St. Papulus of Toulouse (French, priest, missionary, martyred c. 300)
St. Peter-Francis Néron of Bornay [Pierre-François] (French, missionary priest in Hong Kong, martyred by beheading at about age 42 in Vietnam in 1860 [beatified 1909, canonized 1988])
St. Pirmin of Aragon (Spanish, Benedictine abbot, missionary bishop in Germany, d. 753)
Bl. Pius Campidelli of Trebbio [Pio] [baptized Luigi (Louis) Alunno] (Italian, Passionist, died at age 21 in 1889 [beatified 1985])
St. Quartus of Rome (Italian, 1st century)
Bl. Raniero Mariani of Arezzo (Italian, Franciscan brother, d. 1304 [beatified 1802]) [commemorated by some on the 12th]
St. Rumwold of Sutton (British, prince, c. 650)
Bl. Simon Ballachi of Sant'Arcangelo [Simone] (Italian, nobleman Dominican brother, ascetic, visionary, died at about age 69 in 1319 [beatified 1817])
St. Sylvia of Rome (Italian, mother of St. Gregory the Great [pope and doctor of the Church], widow, c. 572)
Sts. Valerian and Hilary of Viterbo (Italian, priest and deacon, martyred by beheading c. 304)
St. Valentinian of Salerno (Italian, bishop, c. 500)
St. Winifred of Guthurin (Welsh, virgin, died at about age 55 c. 655)
St. Wulganus of Arras (from British Isles, hermit in France, c. 704)

But unless I missed it, you forgot one of the most beautiful Saints of all...St.Francis of Assisi, as it is said "who melted mens hearts.:)
